On the Winery of La Grajera, west of the city of Logroño and only a few meters from the Camino de Santiago, is the winery’s Institutional Grajera. The project seeks to balance its representative character and the desire to merge with the landscape.
The objective is surprising, volumes follow the forms of the earth.
A sandstone basement, which houses the production area of the hold, bends and rises as a landscape element.
The large green roof reflects the passage of the seasons, and redefines the profile of the hill where the building. On the basement establishing the institutional flag, which is embodied in a light, long the structure of glass and black ceramic coating.
Its uneven profile traces the edge of vegetation, and form an opening to the landscape.

The route through the building is of great importance, as we leave the vineyard, landscape and light, gently into a subterranean world of darkness, tranquility, serenity and silence, the home of wine
