Centro José Guerrero. Antonio Jiménez Torrecillas
The Centro José Guerrero in Granada occupies a building from the late s. XIX rehabilitated and fitted with all requirements of the current museum by architect Antonio Jimenez Torrecillas. The restoration project, awarded in 2003 by the College of Architects of Granada in the form of restoration and rehabilitation, is articulated through the idea of travel as the leitmotiv of the museum function, while delving into the architectural theme and outlined in the old building: the exterior opens to the street and inside turns on itself and creates a space conducive to aesthetic contemplation.
