MoMA acquires ‘IKEA Disobedients’ by Andrés Jaque Architects
MoMA’s Department of Architecture and Design has acquired “IKEA Disobedients”, by Andrés Jaque Arquitectos.
As of September 12 New York’s MoMA hosts “IKEA Disobedients”, a project of Andrés Jaque, architect and professor at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Europea de Madrid. Format can be seen in video installation and performance as part of the exhibition “9 +1 Ways of Being Political: 50 Years of Political Stances in Architecture and Urban Design,” an exhibition that sheds new light on how, over the last half a century, the architects have responded actively to the changing conditions of the cities.
